We never charge a fee to provide an estimate for your painting project.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?

Our office hours are Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Fridays.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE LEAD PAINT?

If your house was built prior to 1978, chances are it has lead paint. A lab test can be done if you want to verify that your home does, in fact, have lead paint.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY INTERIOR PAINT JOB?

Removing dirt before it accumulates not only improves the appearance of your paint but also reduces chances of it getting permanently embedded in the paint film. Check for dirt periodically and always begin by cleaning surfaces with a mild detergent using a sponge or soft cloth. Turn to harsher cleaners only when absolutely necessary. Alkaline cleaners can dull the sheen or gloss of oil based paint. Abrasive cleaner will dull the gloss of satin, semigloss and gloss products. Washed surfaces should be rinsed thoroughly because residual cleaner can interfere with adhesion of paint applied later.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY EXTERIOR PAINT JOB?

On a regular basis you should walk around the exterior of your home looking for dryrot, water penetration, cracks, and chalking. We recommend pressure washing your home yearly to remove the accumulation of surface dirt.

HOW WILL MY PERSONAL PROPERTY BE PROTECTED FROM PAINT?

For interior paint projects, we ask that you remove any delicate items. All remaining items will be covered with clean drop cloths or plastic sheeting. For exterior paint projects, shrubs and surrounding areas will be protected so that no evidence of paint splatter or paint peelings remains.
